The Ferrari 812 was unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show as a successor to the Ferrari F12. The 812 is powered by a front-mounted naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, generating a staggering 789 hp (588 kW). Acceleration clocks in at 0–100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 337 km/h. The carbon-ceramic brakes enable breaking from 60mph within 50 metres. The 812 Superfast is the first Ferrari equipped with EPS (Electronic Power Steering).
The design is inspired by the F12 Berlinetta, with elements intended to resemble that of the 365 GTB/4 Daytona. The Ferrari 812 was designed as a two-door hard top coupe, with convertible and sports variations. The interior borrows ideas from the LaFerrari, especially the shape and position of the air vents and the contours of the dashboard. The front of the car is designed to increase downforce and includes intakes for front brake cooling, as well as ducts to increase underbody air flow. The rear diffuser of the Ferrari 812 Superfast has active flaps that can open up at high speeds to further reduce drag.
