The Ferrari FF was the fastest four-seater Gran Touring car when it was unveiled in 2011, as a successor to the 612. It has four-wheel drive, which gives it its name FF, standing for Ferrari Four. It reaches 335 km/h and accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, powered by the largest Ferrari engine built at the time, a 6.3L V12 naturally aspirated, 7-speed powertrain. The 4-wheel drive system is a special one patented by Ferrari, called 4RM, which is 50% lighter than conventional systems. The Ferrari FF has won many awards for design, luxury and even practicality.
The Ferrari FF has a shape called “shooting brake”, which is a cross between a hatchback and estate, with sporty tones, like four exhaust outlets, large air grill in the front, defined contours, and the distinctive round rear headlights. Its drag coefficient is a low 0.329. It offers up to 800 litres boot capacity, in true GT fashion. Interior luxury is evident throughout, with hand-stitched leather, carpeting, and sound system.
